If you frequent coffee shops (or even airports for that matter) you probably have a roster of necessary items you bring with you. I've yet to visit a coffee shop or roaster who doesn't offer free WI-FI service so bringing a device is obviously at the top of my list.
Let's go over some more good gadgets and apps to make sure you bring on your next visit.
For those unfamiliar, Amazon Audible is an affordable app and subscription service that brings books directly to your device and reads them for you! All you need is headphones. Basically, it's a book on tape app. So if you'd rather gain some knowledge than listen to music while sipping on your coffee, Amazon Audible will be perfect for you. Here are the details:
Sticking with the Amazon theme, if you love to read and don't have a kindle yet - well I'm not sure what you've been doing or where you've been living. Kindles are a no-glare e-reader perfect for coffee shops, airports or anywhere really. What I like best about kindles are the no-glass aspect. Reading outside on an iPad can be tough because of the glare. Kindles offer a no-glare read inside or outside.
I'm actually not the biggest fan of coffee shop tunes. Nor to I like listening to other peoples conversations. I try not to eavesdrop but it's hard not to when people speak loudly. Noise canceling headphones, like these, are even better for traveling. They block out all the surround sound on airplanes (crying babies, loud engines, etc) flawlessly and will ensure a good sleep.
They can be a bit pricey but I won't travel without them. I highly suggest picking a pair up.
