Drinking coffee can become repetitive. Most coffee drinkers will stick to the same drink everyday, at the same time, with the same amount of cream & sugar added. And hey, why not?

Don’t change something that works, right?

Wrong!

Here at Cliff & Pebble, it’s not only our job to provide you with quality espresso machines and grinders but also to expand your coffee repertoire, learn new things and make you the best home barista you can be! Below are our favorite, exciting and delicious (of course) drinks you can make with your home espresso machine!

 

Espresso Macchiato – A Classic

  • 1 (or two, or three!) shots espresso
  • Foamed Milk

Brew espresso directly into a serving cup. With a small spoon, add a dollop of foamed milk. Serve HOT!

 

La Dolce Vita – For The Sweet Tooth

  • 5 oz. anisette or sambucca syrup
  • 2 shots espresso
  • Steamed & Foamed Milk
  • Lemon twist (as a garnish)

Serve in a 12-ounce cup. Combine syrup and espresso. Then, fill cup with steamed milk, top with foamed milk (use a spoon to hold back foam if needed) and garnish with a lemon twist.

 

German Chocolate Cappuccino – For Chocolate (and syrup) Lovers

  • 1 oz. chocolate syrup
  • 1 oz. caramel syrup
  • 1 oz. coconut syrup
  • .5 oz. praline syrup
  • 2 shots espresso
  • Steamed & Foamed Half and Half
  • Shaved Chocolate (as a garnish)

Serve in a 12-ounce cup. Combine syrup and espresso. Then, fill cup with steamed half-and-half, top with foamed milk. Sprinkle shaved chocolate to garnish!

 

Iced Mocha Mint Latte – For That Hot Summer Day

  • Ice
  • 1 shot espresso
  • 1 oz. chocolate syrup
  • 2 oz. crème de menthe syrup
  • 1 oz. crème de cacao syrup
  • Cold milk

Fill a 12 oz. glass with ice. Add espresso and syrups. Fill with cold milk. Stir and serve!

 

Café Viennese – For Those Wanting a Small Buzz

  • 1 oz. Kahlua
  • 1 oz. crème de cacao
  • 2 oz. espresso
  • 4 oz. hot water
  • Whipped Cream

Serve in a 10 or 12-ounce mug. Combine Kahlua and crème de cacao. Add espresso and hot water. Top with whipped cream.

 

Café Parisian

  • .5 oz. brandy
  • .5 oz. Grand Marnier
  • 1 oz. espresso
  • 2 oz. hot water
  • Whipped Cream
  • Orange Zest (grated, optional)

Serve in a 6 oz. glass. Combine brandy and Grand Marnier. Add espresso and hot water. Top with whipped cream. Garnish with grated orange peel.
