Why Buy a Used Espresso Machine?

Most merchandise decreases in value the second you open the box and use it. Espresso machines are no exception. When buying anything used, the immediate concern becomes the status it's in, whether or not it actually works and what the warranty is moving forward. Here at Cliff & Pebble, we only place machines in perfect working condition in our outlet center. In addition to their still operation status, we try to make sure they have at least a one year warranty.

We understand the expensive nature of a premium domestic espresso machine and attribute this to the massive interest in used espresso machines. We work hard to give our customers what they want at economical prices and assure them we've tested and inspected every machine for full functionality before listing them in our outlet center.

The savings you'll find on our used espresso machines is more than just $20. Depending on the age and condition, you can possibly save up to 75% of the full retail price. Be sure to sign up for outlet center alerts if you don't see anything you like. We'll email you when/if your desired machine becomes available.

So, lets go over the benefits of purchasing a used espresso machine from Cliff & Pebble.

1. Massive Savings on Like-New Machines

As mentioned above, the machines we place in our outlet center are in excellent shape. Should a machine come back in poor condition, it won't ever be listed for sale again outside of eBay. The price we set them at is determined by the condition and we try to be as generous as possible, sometimes passing along savings upwards of $1,000!

Cliff & Pebble offers a very generous 30-day return policy. Should someone purchase a machine, get it and decide it's not for them - we'll take it back no questions asked. We never want something to keep something they hate! Once it comes back, the machine is inspected and tested to ultimately find itself in our outlet center - this is about 90% of the machines put there. Basically brand new, usually unused machines at massive discounts.

2. Quality Tested

Every used espresso machine put in our outlet center has been tested and inspected for full functionality, damages, scratches and more. Unfortunately, some machines do come back with some dings (mostly from shipping) on them. In these cases, the price is reduced to reflect any flaw or inaccuracy in the machine.

Performance-wise, we won't place a machine in our outlet center until it's in perfect working condition. If it requires repair, we'll fix it (at our cost) before listing it for sale again. After all, who wants a used espresso machine that doesn't even work?

3. 30 day return policy

Unlike most dealers, who won't allow you to return an outlet center item, Cliff & Pebble offers the same lenient 30-day return policy we place on brand new items. Should you purchase something from the outlet center and not like it - we'll take it back.

Warranty

Outlet center item's warranties depend on the condition of the machine, how long ago it was purchased for the first time and more. Most machines will come with at least a 1 year warranty however there are exceptions. Please see the product page for warranty information. Extended warranties can also be purchased - contact us for more details.

4. Lifetime Tech Support

Regardless of when you bought it, Cliff & Pebble is proud to offer lifetime support on all their products, new or used. Customer service has been a massive building stone for us and we want to make sure our customers are comfortable when making a purchase from us. We're available all the time and do our best to respond to any inquiries within minutes (especially during business hours).
