Getting this set on sale was a good value. The grinder is very loud and some of the parts feel flimsy and cheep. The design an ease if nice is nice and generally does a good job. The Rocket Appartamento has a good entry level price to an otherwise expensive world of quality machines. It seems to be brewing at a slightly lower than optimal temp even after a 30-45 minute warmup. When I got the machine, one of the inner copper panels was shifted so I had to open up the machine and adjust and noticed these were not installed with car or QA'd very good. After a few days of use, I had to open it back up to adjust the build temp as well. It was in the right range, but after using it a few times, it never got to the right pressure until after an adjustment was made. The only cheap part on it is the plastic cup rail.Loading...

Thank you so much for your honest review! The one thing the Appartamento doesn't have is PID so yes, adjusting temps needs to be done manually. The factory setting doesn't seem to be ideal so we've contacted Rocket about changing it. Please let us know if you have any further questions!
