It can, however, also be used in light commercial settings (small cafés, coffee truck, kiosk, etc). The Brio is for those looking for that Italian café-quality coffee with as many automated features as possible making usability as simple and as quick as possible. It's because of the automation that we absolutely love the La Spaziale S11 Brio for either home or commercial use.

Why we love it:

The La Spaziale S11 Brio contains volumetric dosing. What this feature does is allow you to program your shots based on time. With a traditional E61 group head machine, this is impossible meaning you'll have to manually tell the machine when to stop pulling espresso. The Brio, on the other hand, can be programmed so all you need to do is touch a button, walk away, and the machine will handle the rest. 

Additionally, the La Spaziale S11 Brio contains a massive 2.5 liter stainless steel steam boiler alongside a 0.45 liter coffee boiler and is available in tank (reservoir) or plumbed in options. The plumbed in version also contains a commercial-grade rotary pump.

Opinion of our experts:

While the La Spaziale S11 Brio may look intimidating to a beginner, it's designed (and is) one of the most user-friendly home espresso machines we've ever come across. The Brio makes making espresso at home not only fun, but quick & easy. 

True to La Spaziale fashion comes a different looking espresso machine but we don't view that as a negative - at all. Traditional machines with an E61 group are truly manual. The La Spaziale S11 Brio, while still a manual espresso machine, contains volumetric dosing (allowing it to be programmed) and no levers. Meaning all you need to do to pull epsresso shots and steam milk is press a button. 

Dual stainless steel boilers, PID, an intuitive screen prime for customization (put your own logo in there, etc) tells you the progress of your shot pulling on-the-fly, a built in shot timer, an volumetric dosing make the La Spaziale S11 Brio the ultimate dual boiler espresso machine in it's price range.

Duration - 2 years

Coverage - La Spaziale espresso machines are covered by a one year manufacturers warranty against defects in material & workmanship. Cliff & Pebble extends that by an entire year. 

*Shipping - Cliff & Pebble covers shipping (both ways) for warranty during the first 90 days. After that period, we're more than happy to help with any issue however the cost of shipping is then on the customer. Parts & labor is still on us!
