I’m Matt, the founder of Cliff & Pebble, and I want to personally welcome you to our corner of the coffee world.

Cliff & Pebble began with a simple goal: to make the process of buying prosumer espresso machines and grinders as enjoyable as the coffee they produce. My journey started years ago when I decided to invest in a high-quality espresso setup for my home. What should have been an exciting experience turned into a frustrating one—confusing choices, little guidance, and no clear focus on the customer. In fact, the machine arrived with a bent drip tray. The dealer I purchased from asked me to go buy a rubber mallet and hammer it back into place. Seriously - that happened. After spending over $2,000 for an espresso machine I was asked to hit it with a hammer. I couldn't believe it.

That experience stuck with me. I wanted to create something better—a place where people could shop confidently, knowing they were getting not only the best products but also a partner to guide them through the process.
