The Bicocca is the first Rocket machine to walk away from the E61 group entirely, and it's the most capable machine the company builds for the home. Dual boilers, an electrically heated group under its own PID, and a touchscreen that puts brew temperature, pre-infusion, and shot volume in one place. It's NSF-certified and ships plumb-ready, which means it's equally at home on a serious kitchen counter or behind a small cart. This is the machine for the person who wants Tuesday morning's shot to be identical to Sunday afternoon's.

Everything you want to know

It's the first Rocket home machine without an E61 group. Instead of circulating boiler water through a heavy brass group, the Bicocca uses an electrically heated group with its own PID. That means the temperature you set is the temperature that reaches the coffee, and the machine gets there in roughly ten minutes instead of the twenty-plus an E61 needs to fully saturate.
Rocket rates it at 8–10 minutes to brew temperature, with full steam power shortly after. That's fast for a machine at this level, and it's a direct result of the actively heated group. Scheduled auto-on is built into the touchscreen if you'd rather it be hot before you're awake.
Either. It ships with the plumb-in and drain hoses in the box, and the rotary pump is built for direct connection. The 61 oz internal reservoir has a low-water sensor if you'd rather keep it on the counter with no plumbing at all. Switching between the two is straightforward.
Different philosophies. The Bianca gives you a manual paddle and hands-on flow control over every second of the shot. The Bicocca gives you programmed repeatability — set the recipe once and let volumetrics reproduce it. If you love dialing in by feel, the Bianca. At this level we'd point you at the Eureka Mignon line or a stepless flat burr grinder — the Bicocca's consistency is only as good as what's going into the basket. Call us and we'll match a grinder to the coffee you actually drink rather than guess.
It's NSF-certified, which covers light commercial use — coffee carts, offices, catering, small service counters. It is not a substitute for a two-group machine on a busy cafe bar. Note that commercial warranty terms differ from home use, so call us before you buy if it's going into a business.
