The Eureka Mignon Libra solves the problem every hopper-fed grinder has: inconsistent dosing. Instead of grinding by time or by eye, the Libra grinds to a weight you set — stopping automatically when your portafilter hits the target dose. The built-in scale talks directly to the motor. You set 18 grams, you get 18 grams. Every time. Made in Florence, Italy, by the same factory that builds Eureka's commercial lineup.

Grind-by-Weight

Built-in scale auto-stops the grinder at your target dose. Set it once, pull consistent shots every day.

55mm Flat Burrs

Larger than most home grinders in this form factor. Italian-made, 1600 RPM, consistent particle distribution.

Stepless Adjustment

Infinite grind settings via micrometric dial. Dial in to the exact setting your shot needs without discrete clicks.

Digital Touchscreen

Intuitive interface for setting target weight, adjusting dose, and switching between manual and automatic modes.

Silent Technology

Sound insulation built into the motor housing. Quiet enough for early mornings without waking the house.

Anti-Clumping System

Grounds exit the chute consistently without clumping — smoother, more even distribution into the portafilter.

Is the Mignon Libra right for you?

You're tired of weighing your dose separately — you want the grinder to do it automatically and accurately.
You want a compact hopper-fed grinder that doesn't sacrifice precision for convenience.
You pull back-to-back shots and want genuine consistency without a separate scale in your workflow.
You want an Italian-made grinder from a manufacturer with decades of commercial experience.
You're pairing with a machine that uses a standard 58mm portafilter and want a plug-and-play dosing experience.

Common Questions

Everything you want to know

The Libra has a built-in scale beneath the portafilter fork. You set your target dose — say 18 grams — on the touchscreen, and the grinder runs until the portafilter reaches that weight, then stops automatically. The scale samples 40 times per second and cuts power early to account for the grinds still falling after the burrs stop. In practice you'll be within 0.1–0.3g of your target every time.
No — the Libra uses a hopper (300g capacity). It's a grind-by-weight grinder, meaning it doses automatically by weight into your portafilter rather than grinding to a timer. If you prefer single-dose workflow with near-zero retention, look at the Turin DF64 Gen 2.7 or Eureka Mignon Zero instead.
The Libra comes with a 58mm dosing funnel included. A 53mm funnel is also available separately. It works with any standard espresso portafilter.
The Specialita doses by time — you program how many seconds the motor runs and adjust from there. The Libra doses by weight — it stops automatically when your portafilter reaches your target dose. If consistency across different coffees and humidity levels matters to you, the Libra is the more precise choice. The Specialita is a excellent grinder at a lower price for buyers who don't need weight-based dosing.
The Libra pairs well with any prosumer espresso machine — Lelit Mara X V2, Lelit Elizabeth V3, Rocket Appartamento TCA, Turin Gallatin lineup. It uses a standard portafilter fork so it fits 58mm portafilters universally. Call 800-410-8867 and we'll pair it with the right machine for your workflow.
Purely cosmetic — Chrome is $50 more due to the finish. Performance is identical across all three colors. Black and White are both $799; Chrome is $849.

The grinder took a little longer than expected to dial in but Matt was 100% willing to work with me and help me out. The grinder performs great and I couldn’t be happier with it. Matt and team are also wonderful to their customers!

Thank you so much for this — and for sticking with the process! Dialing in a new grinder takes a little patience but once it's there, it's there. So glad we could help and that you're happy with it. Enjoy every shot!

Got a Lucca X58, which is great, but my Baratza grinder was not consistent enough for such a precise machine, even with single dosing. After a lot of research, I decided on the Libra. What a difference! After setting the zero point on the burrs, it only took two attempts to get a near-perfect espresso. Tiny adjustments to the grind knob were all it took. It has simplified things so much from single dosing: just put the funnel on the portafilter, insert it into the fork & press the button.

The grinder is quiet, robustly built, and, once set up and programmed with weights, pretty effortless. I got the dreaded "FH" error message when first setting it up and using it, but now that I have the filter holder adjusted correctly, it has not happened again.

As others have pointed out, the "LIBRA" logo is a bit crooked. Yeah, it's annoying on an $800 appliance, but ultimately inconsequential.

Hard to believe that this grinder has made such a huge improvement in my morning cappuccino and americano, but it has. The price is a bit tough to swallow, but the coffee goes down down easy. I've only had it for a week, but unless something goes south, I am very pleased with the Libra.

    Hi JD,

We’re thrilled to hear how well the Libra has paired with your LUCCA X58 and how much it’s improved your daily cappuccinos and americanos. We completely understand the frustration with the logo alignment—it’s a small detail, but one that shouldn’t be overlooked on a premium grinder. That said, we’re glad the performance has exceeded expectations and made your espresso routine more effortless. We really appreciate your support and wish you many more years of great coffee!
