Mozzafiato means breathtaking in Italian — and Rocket named it to reflect their passion for design, coffee, and cycling. The Mozzafiato FAST V is Rocket's most compact HX machine, at 12.4" wide, with the same FAST actively heated E61 group that gets it brew-ready in approximately 15 minutes from cold. Same performance as the Giotto FAST. Smaller footprint. Equally stunning on the counter.

FAST Heat-Up

Actively heated E61 group ready to brew in ~15 minutes from cold — vs 25–35 min on traditional HX machines.

Most Compact Rocket HX

12.4" wide — an inch narrower than the Giotto FAST. Full prosumer performance in a tighter footprint.

Heat Exchanger

1.8L insulated HX boiler lets you brew and steam simultaneously without waiting.

PID Temperature Control

Smart electronic temperature management hidden behind the drip tray for a clean look.

Integrated Shot Timer

Built into the face of the machine. Consistent extractions, every time.

Handmade in Milan

Every Mozzafiato assembled by Rocket's team of craftsmen. Not a factory line.

Common Questions

Everything you want to know

Mozzafiato is Italian for breathtaking. Rocket named it to reflect their passion for design, coffee, and cycling — the machine carries the spirit of Italian road cycling and the mountain passes of the Giro d'Italia. It's not just a name. The Mozzafiato has always been Rocket's most design-forward compact machine.
Performance is virtually identical — same 1.8L HX boiler, same FAST actively heated E61 group, same PID, same shot timer, same vibratory pump. The differences are design and size. The Mozzafiato is 314mm wide vs the Giotto's 340mm — 26mm narrower. The Mozzafiato has flat, beveled side panels; the Giotto has asymmetric, angular three-dimensional panels. Counter space and aesthetic preference are the deciding factors.
The R has a rotary pump; the V has a vibratory pump. The rotary pump is quieter, allows direct water line connection so you never refill a tank, and reaches extraction pressure slightly faster. Aesthetically the only difference is white pressure gauges on the R vs black on the V. If you don't need plumb-in capability, the V is the right call.
Both are compact Rocket HX machines with similar heat-up times. The TCA is 270mm wide with iconic circular side panels and TCA temperature presets. The Mozzafiato FAST V is 314mm wide with flat beveled panels and FAST heat-up technology. The TCA is more compact; the Mozzafiato is taller and has a more architectural presence. We sell both — call us at 800-410-8867 and we'll help you decide.
The Eureka Mignon Specialita ($649) is our top recommendation — precise, quiet, and compact enough to sit next to the Mozzafiato without overwhelming the counter. The Rocket Faustino grinder is also an aesthetically perfect match if you want to keep everything in the Rocket family. Call us at 800-410-8867 for a specific recommendation.
365 days — the longest return window in the espresso industry. If the Mozzafiato FAST V isn't right for you within a full year, we'll take it back or help you upgrade. We cover return shipping on exchanges. Every machine includes Rocket's full 3-year parts and labor warranty, handled through our Chicago team directly.
